Being Savvy: Activities, things to do with your preschoolers, toddlers and kids in San Antonio, TX

Colleen Pence

Colleen Pence

An Army brat who's lived in more than a couple of these lovely United States, Colleen now calls San Antonio home (She even says, "ya'll," without smirking and passes quite convincingly as a native Texan.). In her past life Colleen managed marketing campaigns for the San Antonio Symphony, a 60-year-old architecture firm and an international software company but she left all that in 2005 to stay home with daughter Delaney, now three. These days Colleen is a PR/new media consultant and writer working from home and juggling the demands of her preschooler, infant son and deadlines, all while viewing more Calliou than should be allowed by law. If she had free time she'd listen to Bob Marley, sip chardonnay in between breastfeeding sessions, read chick lit and dream of the day she'll again have time to dawdle in a hot bubble bath. .

Emily

Emily

Emily has called San Antonio home for over 15 years. She lives here with her husband and two sweet and beautiful children. Until recently, Emily was an elementary school teacher but now is excited she is able to educate her own children and watch their every move! She enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, reading and anything that has to do with her family. You can find Emily usually with her family eating out, at a local park, or the neighborhood swimming pool (anything to wear the kiddos out for a good nights sleep!).
