Although summer is drawing to a close- it doesn't mean activities with your toddler need to as well.  There is plenty to do in the upcoming week(s) so keep your eye on these fun, and even educational activities.

 For starters:

At the Children's Museum (305 E. Houston St.) this week they will be presenting Building Tracks Week during regular museum hours.  I will be checking this out (my son eats, sleeps and breathes Thomas the train) before it ends Sunday.

Check out Miss Anastasia (from the Red Balloon) downtown- Main Plaza for storytime at 11:00 on Saturday.

On Wednesday, August 27 at Pottery Barn (North Star), Joe McDermott will be performing at 10 and 11.  He is a nationally recognized children's musician.

August 30- September 1 is the Grand Opening of Terrific Treehouses at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens.   There will be activities for the kids.

To end with:

Season passes for the upcoming 2008-2009 year just went on sale at the Magik Theatre.  If you aren't necessarily interested in passes, at least check out future plays you will need tickets for.  I am particularly excited about Where the Wild Things Are starting September 16- October 11.
