Memberships To Consider This Summer

May 26, 2009

1.  San Antonio Zoo- This may seem obvious, but in case it isn't I want to reiterate why a membership to the zoo is a must.  In addition to discounts at other zoos and refreshments inside, you can take advantage of all the extra programs they offer as well.  There is always some new animal to check out- and they haven't even finished Africa Live! exhibit- so we are all waiting to check that out.

"Active" or consumable gifts

December 16, 2008

Sometimes I will be playing with my kids or cleaning up their toys and will get overwhelmed at all of the 'stuff' they have! We don't have a huge house, and if we don't make my son put up one toy before taking out another, we can begin to get claustrophobic. Or, if I am organizing and cleaning their toys, I realize how many they just don't use! That is why my husband and I appreciate when loved  Read more...

In my fantasy we'd make a day of it, starting with the museum and ending with spirited discussions about the art we'd enjoyed over tea and cakes at Madhatter's. But, until  Read more...
