Have you discovered the new website, Moms Around SA?  It is from the people that brought you My Mommy Connection.  They felt that this new website would help all Moms of kids of all ages, whereas the former My Mommy Connection only helped Moms of little kids.  If you are looking for things to do, this is another great resource.  Under the Kidtivities tab, there are many places to try out.  Even if you have heard of some of them, they sometimes offer tips or specials you didn't know about.  I have also listed the information from last week about classes or camps for Spring Break.  If you want to avoid the whole, "I'm bored" routine, sign them up for a camp (call about these camps, most of them still have available space).   We have an early Spring Break this year- it is in two weeks (March 9-13)!  If you were thinking about enrolling your kiddo in a fun class or camp, now is the time to do it before everything fills up. 

Upcoming Events Around Town

Pottery Barn at North Star Mall is having A Cat in the Hat event!  Come to the store between 10AM-Noon and your child will be read Dr. Seuss classics and will be able to take pictures with the Cat himself!  Bring your own camera and your kiddo ready for some fun.  No tickets are required for this event- but I suggest you get there early.  If it is anything like the concert I went to, it was packed!

Have you taken your child to see Old MacDonald's Farm at the Steven Stoli Playhouse ? If you haven't, tomorrow is the last day it is showing. Make sure to put the next play on your calendar- Little Red Riding Hood and the Cookie Wolf showing Oct. 4- Nov. 1. Tickets are cheaper than going to a movie and probably a better experience. Pottery Barn Sing-Alongs One of the best-kept secrets in town (unfortunately for Pottery Barn marketing execs) is Pottery Barn's Sing-Alongs. Held several times each year, the concerts feature regional superstars from the preschooler music scene.
