Earth, the Movie

We recently took my three-year-old to see his first movie, Earth .  It is the new Disney nature movie.  I thought it would be a good "first" movie for a child.  It turned out it was for the most part.  The movie follows a few animal families and depict the food chain as well.  He happily munched his popcorn and skittles through the first 45 minutes of the movie and asked very few questions.  He enjoyed just watching the animals.   Read more...

Let's Rodeo, San Antonio!

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo has officially started!  My husband and I (pre-kids) would go to many nights of the rodeo and enjoy the concerts.  I knew there was a carnival, a livestock and horse show but never ventured outside of the Coliseum.  Once my son showed up, we realized we would have to find additional ways to enjoy the rodeo with him.  Going out to the grounds can provide anyone a fun filled day.   Read more...
